Day 11 -- Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Sunday 7/8/2001
We slept with the air conditioning off. That was nice. But the drawback is that we can hear all the noises from the outside, including fireworks and rumbling diesel trucks. The air conditioner does a good job at masking out that. Vincent came over around 8 o'clock and we prepared crepes for breakfast. Vincent helped Lillemor stir together his mix and then taught Isabella how to work the pans. We setup the dual burner outside the trailer, under the awning. There was light rain.
Today we had no plans in particular. We wanted to stay back at the campground and just relax. Vincent was also preparing for his big journey to the southwest. We hung around the beach and the pool for most of the day. We ate a sandwich lunch back at the trailer.

Karl lost a tooth in the afternoon, his second lower front tooth. The kids played around in the sand by the beach. Erik did some more surfing and Isabella helped mom with laundry. For dinner we ate hamburgers and hot-dogs by the trailer, outside. It was nice and warm.
